Slow Fermentation | Multi-Active Ferments™
What is unique about Circulove products is that each and every active ingredient is fermented, including oils. The levels of probiotics, antioxidants and vitamins are naturally amplified in the products through bio-fermentation, so nothing supplemental is added. As an outcome, also new compounds are formed, such as skin-treating amino acids, fatty acids, peptides, polyphenols, probiotics, and protective antioxidants. Ingredients are further broken into smaller molecular size which enables better absorption into the skin and optimal bioavailabity for a skin microbiome.
ⓕ Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*. A study reveals that the virgin coconut oil produced through fermentation showed a clearly better antioxidant capacity than refined, bleached, and deodorized coconut oil. Aside from this health benefit, virgin coconut oil is known to have anti-inflammatory, anti-stress, and antimicrobial properties due to its high lauric acid content. Origin: Sri Lanka.
ⓕ Cucumber* (Cucumis Sativus) is anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, acne-fighting, and soothes irritation all while hydrating the skin. It contains vitamins A+K+B6, folate, magnesium, ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and caffeic acid, which prevent water retention, help soothe skin irritations. It also has a clean aroma that gives a natural, pleasant scent. Origin: Finland.
ⓕ Helianthus Annuus* (Sunflower) Seed Oil is a well-loved, nourishing oil that absorbs quickly. It is rich in linoleic acid, can help maintain the skin barrier, and can decrease transepidermal water loss. Linoleic acid is the fatty acid that all skin types crave thanks to its unmatched anti-inflammatory abilities. In fact, many acne-prone skin types are found to be deficient in linoleic acid. Origin: England/UK.
ⓕ White Willow Bark (Lactobacillus Salix Alba Bark ferment) is high in tannins, phenolic acids, flavonoids, and various minerals, all of which help soothe the skin and aid in cell regeneration, allowing for a more youthful, refreshed complexion. The tannins in White Willow Bark are responsible for its excellent Astringent properties, which are similar to those in Green Tea Extract. Tannins are a rich source of antioxidants, which reduce redness and inflammation and promotes healing. Origin: Finland.
Willow bark also contains salicylic acid, derived from salicin, which helps to fight acne and is an all natural, gentle exfoliant. White willow bark helps to exfoliate your skin by sloughing off dead skin cells, making way for fresh, bright and radiant skin. White Willow bark is one of the best botanicals for helping control sebum production and for unclogging blocked pores.
ⓕ Lingonberry oil* improves the skin’s hydration making way for softer and more supple skin. It helps reduce redness and skin sensitivity, helps neutralize the effects of the sun’s radiation, and improves skin elasticity. Lingonberries are a key fruit berry in the Scandinavian diet and have been called “the new superfruit.”
It is an incredible source of Vitamin C, A (natural retinol), B1, B2, B3 (natural niacinamide), E and calcium, sterols, polyphenols, magnesium, and omega-3. It also contains fruit acids and enzymes that help encourage cell turnover, and has one of the highest concentrations of antioxidants in a single plant. Origin: Finland.
Natural, organic Glycerin* from rapeseed (no soy) helps keep your skin properly hydrated because it attracts water to the outermost layer of the skin. Origin: England/UK.
Cocamidopropyl Betaine (Cocamidopropyl betaine) is a mild surfactant that has excellent foaming and thickening properties. It is derived from coconut oil and dimethylaminopropylamine with excellent biodegradability. Origin: Germany.
Glyceryl Stearate is an oily ingredient that can magically blend with water all by itself. This is called self-emulsifying. The difference to "normal" glyceryl stearate is that this contains a small amount of water-loving soap molecules, such as sodium stearate. This increases Glyceryl Stearate's affinity for water and gives it stronger emulsifying abilities. Origin: England/UK.
Sucrose laurate is classified as an emollient/skin-conditioning agent and emulsifier/surfactant. This versatile, plant-derived ingredient is created from a combination of sugar and lauric acid (one of several fatty acids found in coconut oil, babassu butter and other natural fats). It is often touted as the "gentle cleansing agent". Origin: England/UK.

ⓕ Xanthan gum is made by fermenting sugar with specific bacteria. It’s a great stabilizer used in the food industry. Origin: Finland.
Ecocert approved, natural preservatives: Benzyl Alcohol, Dehydro Acetic Acid, Sorbic Acid and Benzoic Acid. Organic acids are naturally occurring compounds, present in many foods of plant origin, as well as produced during the fermentation of foods. Origin: England/UK.
